Our Trip Captains are experienced travel professionals who understand that leading a group is about much more than simply following an itinerary. Before leading a trip, our captains are selected based on their travel experience, communication skills, responsibility, and ability to handle real situations on the road. Throughout the journey, they are there to: Coordinate the group and keep the trip running smoothly. Assist travelers with check-ins, sightseeing and day-to-day requirements. Help the group stay on schedule. Coordinate with drivers, hotels, local teams and activity providers. Handle unexpected situations such as weather, road conditions or itinerary changes. Make sure solo travelers and first-time group travelers feel comfortable. Be the go-to person for the group throughout the trip. We don't expect our captains to simply “show you around.” They become the bridge between our operations team and the travelers on the road. Our goal is simple: you should be able to enjoy the journey while your Trip Captain takes care of the coordination. And because every trip is different, we assign captains according to the destination, itinerary and nature of the trip — whether it's a weekend getaway, Himalayan road trip or high-altitude adventure.
